The Tallest Shiva Idol in Assam, the world’s sixth tallest – was unveiled in Nalbari.
In the Kharjara Ashram in the Nalbari area, a Shiva statue has been built that stands 91 feet tall. Along with Mahalakshmi Savings and Lending Cooperative Society Limited, this majestic Shiva statue is built in Nalbari.
During this Maha Shivratri, this enormous Shiva idol was unveiled. The statue was initially not planned to be built at 91 feet but had to expand its height during construction. It was created exactly next to Kharjara Ashram near Nalbari town.
