The curse of Godmen getting convicted for heinous crimes doesn’t seem to be ending as another abominable case has come to light in Haryana, where a court has found Amarpuri alias Jalebi Baba, a priest of the Baba Balaknath temple in Haryana’s Tohana, guilty of reportedly raping 120 different women and making videos of the same.
Based on complaints made by various victims, police conducted a raid on his house and arrested him.
As per the victims, “Jalebi Baba” used to conduct Black Magic operations on them, saying they were possessed. Out of terror, the victims used to agree. During the Tantra Vidya rites, he drugged his victims, raped them and recorded it so that he could later blackmail them for astronomical sums of money.
In addition to this, he also compelled them to engage in sexual activity with him in the name of the videos.
He was detained on suspicion of rape, IT Act violations, and blackmail. Police discovered 120 obscene videos of him with several women during the raid along with tantra and ecstasy pills in his room.
As society increasingly looks for answers to their problems from religious and spiritual Gurus, some bad apples are looking out to take benefit of people’s faith to commit such obscene crimes.
