In yet another disrespectful and humiliating act of its kind, a girl was seen performing ‘Lungi Dance’ onstage apparently wearing the traditional Assamese ‘Gamusa’, a video of which has been doing rounds on social media.
In an event hosted by BKLC Youth Club at Kalgachia Trade Expo, a girl was seen performing ‘Lungi Dance’ onstage wearing the traditional Assamese ‘Gamusa’ along with a boy who was wearing a ‘Lungi’ in a vulgar manner.
Consequently, the video of the incident has garnered strong angry reactions from the public. Reacting to the incident, Rupjyoti Kurmi, MLA of Mariani Constituency has requested the chief minister of Assam to take strong action and arrest the organisers involved in the incident.
