An official from the University clarified that the number of days to be allotted for leave due to menstruation will be different for each student.
“It will be different for each student. Each female student can claim two per cent of their total attendance as a menstrual benefit. That’s why the exact number of leave is not mentioned in the order,” the official told PTI.
