Cotton University is set to enter the list of Universities, to join the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Under-Graduation & Post-Graduation Admissions.
This was reported by the ‘Times of India’ – on February 15. The report by Kangkan Kalita stated that, Cotton University will be the first State University from Assam to join the CUET programme.
“Official formalities will be completed soon to link up the university with the CUET admission mechanism. All students, who are willing to join CU, will appear in CUET unless the state government alters the decision on it,” TOI cited ‘sources’ mentioned.

Students from all over the nation are signing up for the ongoing CUET-UG 2023, registrations of which started on Thursday. The registration process will be open for CUET-UG 2023 and will continue till March 12.
CUET makes it easier for students to apply to multiple institutions. Usually, these Universities see sky-rocketing cut-offs, barring students from securing admissions on several occasions.
