On Monday, Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani, in a sacred gesture, donated 29 pairs of birds and five goats to the shrine of Shaktipeeth Kamakhya Temple in Nilachal Hills, Guwahati.
Anant Ambani arrived from Mumbai on a special flight earlier today to personally attend the donation and seek blessings from the temple.
He entered Kamakhya from Borjhar and was seen under tight security.
Mr Ambani is scheduled to meet with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma at the Hotel Taj Vivanta in the evening, after which he might fly back to Mumbai.
Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and is currently engaged to his girlfriend and now fiancée, Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare.
