With all high hopes, love and respect to see his favourite megastar Shahrukh Khan on the big screen, a boy named Faruk Khan, a resident of Rangia town in Assam purchased almost 192 of the total tickets being sold in Rangia’s Delight Gold Cinema Hall for the screening of the SRK- starrer “Pathaan”.
While several protests are being made against the screening of the movie and regarding its boycott, the boy is determined to watch his beloved superstar after such a long time.
“I am going to see SRK on the big screen after so many years. Some might protest, some might boycott, and let them do it. I will go and see SRK.”, he said.
After purchasing almost 80% of the total tickets in the hall, he is ecstatic to go and see the movie with his friends and family and has also shared posts on social media showing him dancing in utter joy along with the tickets.
While on one hand, boycotts and protests regarding”Pathaan” are ongoing, it can also be seen that SRK’s charm over the years is still prevalent as many of his fans are excited to see him on the big screen after a long time.
In 4 days of advance booking, ‘Pathaan’ sold 4,19,000 tickets across all National Cinema chains – this with a day to go until the release. KGF-2 has more advance bookings than Pathaan right now (5,15,000). The highest Hindi film with the highest advance booking is Baahubali-2 (6,50,000).
25 single-screen cinema halls are also set to re-open with Pathaan this week. These cinema halls were completely shut previously.
